 As in the movie, Wyatt and Gary are extremely unpopular at school and often suffer under abusive brother Chett. create Lisa on the former's computer. Lisa has magical powers and grants their wishes, though she sometimes misinterprets (either on purpose or by accident) what they actually mean. Additionally, her magic is temporary, as the wishes eventually wear off. Though frequently victimized by her magic, Chett is unaware of Lisa for much of the series – his memories always wiped. However, he eventually builds up an immunity to that and then seeks to exploit Lisa (either for her magic or for her body). The series enjoyed a fairly successful run. However, the last six episodes did not premiere on USA Network, as the series was suddenly pulled. The remaining episodes eventually aired on the Sci-Fi Channel. |
